According to Deadline.com there’s another remake on the way and it happens to be classic body horror film “The Fly”.

The original “The Fly”was released in 1958 and spawned some sequals, but it wasnt until 1986 when cult film director David Cronenberg remade The Fly (starring Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis) that the Fly really became a cult classic and is still regarded as Cronenbergs best pieces of work.

20th Century Fox is apparantly trying to get director J.D. Dillard on board to write and direct.
Dillard directional debut “Sleight” won rave reviews at last year’s Sundance film festival but can he top Cronenbergs heart breaking classic?
